I’m so glad you’re here!

I started MamaCollective after having my first child (of five). I longed for connections deeper than those typically found on the playground, and did I find it! Over the past eight years, I have met hundreds of moms, and time and time again have heard how impactful MamaCollective has been on their motherhood journey.  It’s time now for MamaCollective to spread its wings and fly! I’m excited to offer moms across the globe the opportunity to host their own mom-to-mom discussion groups, and all the validation, magic and friendship that they facilitate.

Want to host just your friends to talk about more than kid’s schedules and your partners’ shortcomings? Do it! Interested in meeting new moms and providing MamaCollective to your broader community? You’ve got this!

We’ve put together a ton of easy-to-follow tools and resources to help you start your own MamaCollective Discussion Group, and we’re here to help you any way we can.

You’ve got this, Mama!

xx Tiere

Meet the team

Tiere Hessert

Founder, Curator and Lead Facilitator

Tiere got her start in Museum Education, facilitating group workshops, staff training and curriculum. She has a Master’s in Childhood Education from Bank Street College of Education. It was there at Bank Street that she learned about the Inquiry-Based Learning, which has informed how she learns and facilitates discussions and groups.

After 10 years in Museum Ed, Art Ed and working in progressive education, Tiere stepped out of the Education world into the maternal mental health sphere. Seeing an uneven balance between support for parents on the parenting side, but not on the emotional/spiritual/intellectual sides, Tiere created MamaCollective.

Tiere is on a never-ending quest of learning how to create meaningful spaces and facilitating small groups to help them on this journey of life.

Originally from Southern California, Tiere resides in Miami Beach with her husband and five children.

Bridget Mariner

Head of Operations and Development

Bridget found MamaCollective ‘through the grapevine’ and considers it a true turning point in her personal motherhood journey.  She attended her first Discussion with Tiere at a particularly low point of undiagnosed PPD, and through Tiere’s uncomparable warmth and facilitation, she left two hours later feeling heard, validated and connected in a way she hadn’t in the three years of motherhood prior.

Bridget has extensive experience helping businesses and organizations optimize through efficiently and effectively implemented processes and systems. Bridget has been key to bringing MamaCollective into communities across the globe - anywhere they are needed - which is everywhere!

She’s thrilled to be helping MamaCollective grow and thrive, and dreams moms everywhere gathering and supporting each other with intention and purpose.

Bridget lives in Camden, Maine with her husband and two boys (ages 6.5 and 3).
